DEPRESSION & LOW MOOD

Although most people have times when they feel low, if this is affecting daily living, there are things that can be helpful. Depression is not a trivial matter. There are real symptoms and it is a health matter.

Signs of low mood include:

  • sadness
  • being worried
  • feeling tired
  • being less confident
  • feeling frustrated, irritated or angry

A low mood may pass after a few days, but if it is longer-lasting and more than two weeks, it may signal depression. With the right treatment and support, most people are able to make a full recovery.
